Irishman Casey O&#8217;Gorman and Finland&#8217;s Rico Salmela took the podium in a very special race, following the loss of young rider and team member Pau Alsina a few days ago. In this sense, on Saturday all the championship teams gathered at the Aragonese track to pay a heartfelt tribute to Pau.<br><br>Motivated by the need to achieve a good result to dedicate to their teammate, O&#8217;Gorman and Salmela completed a great first round in JuniorGP\u2122, where they consistently found themselves in the top positions, and managed to take the podium in second and third place, respectively. Their teammate, Dodo Boggio, hampered by a right hand injury, was unable to finish the race.<br><br>In the second race, O&#8217;Gorman and Salmela once again performed at a high level with their Hondas, to the point that the Irish rider again finished second, further demonstrating the progress he has been showing in recent races. Salmela, meanwhile, was just two-tenths of a second off the podium in fourth place, earning her first race of the year outside the top three. Boggio overcame his physical problems and managed to finish in 11th place.<br><br>Thanks to the valuable points earned in Arag\u00f3n, Salmela remains in second place in the overall standings with 97 points, followed by her teammate O&#8217;Gorman, who climbs to third with 80. Boggio is 19th with 9.<br><br>In the European Talent Cup (ETC), which was scheduled to be held only one race, Colombian rider Mateo Marulanda confirmed his week-on-week progress with a 10th place finish in a closely contested race. With this new Top 10 finish in his pocket, Marulanda climbs to 10th in the overall standings with 32 points.<br><br>In Moto2\u2122, also with two races remaining, Uruguayan rider Facundo Llamb\u00edas didn&#8217;t find the best feeling on the track. He finished 19th in the first race, while he couldn&#8217;t complete the second due to a mechanical problem. Llamb\u00edas is 10th overall with 32 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>\u201cThere&#8217;s no doubt that it&#8217;s been a very difficult, tough, and complex weekend to manage for everyone on the team following the loss of Pau Alsina.
