Jenson Brickley finishes third in the championship and second in the Junior category.<\/strong><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><strong><em>\u201cWe\u2019ve won another team title and the \u00c8ric Junior Trophy, so we\u2019re very proud of the year we\u2019ve had. Teamwork throughout the season has been key to our results,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0says David Sim\u00f3n, team manager of Monlau Motul.<\/strong><\/strong><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>\u201cThe credit belongs to the entire team: Monlau Motul\u2019s riders, engineers and mechanics have worked with dedication, and these results reflect their effort, commitment and professionalism,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0says Jaime Serrano, CEO of Monlau Motul.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Monlau Motul Technical School approached the final round of the 2025 TCR Spain season aiming for a strong finish, and they succeeded. In a Racing Weekend with two fronts for the team \u2013 TCR Spain and Spanish F4 \u2013 they secured the constructors&#8217; championship for the third consecutive year after a double victory at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as well as the Junior Trophy win with \u00c8ric Gen\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Barcelona-based team fielded a lineup of champions for this final round, driving CUPRA Le\u00f3n VZ TCRs: Briton Jenson Brickley, the recent 2025 TCR Europe drivers&#8217; champion; Spaniard \u00c8ric Gen\u00e9, the 2025 TCR Europe Youth champion; and fellow Briton Adam Shepherd, the reigning TCR UK champion, who joined the team for the final round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saturday&#8217;s qualifying session confirmed the pace of the Monlau Motul drivers. Gen\u00e9 secured&nbsp;<em>pole position<\/em>&nbsp;with a time of 1:50.456, followed by Brickley, who stopped the clock at 1:50.510, just 54 thousandths of a second behind his teammate. Shepherd, meanwhile, set the eighth fastest time (1:51.403).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first race, Gen\u00e9 capitalized on his&nbsp;<em>pole position<\/em>&nbsp;to take the lead from the start and deliver a flawless performance that led him to victory. Brickley, in second place, played a crucial role in the Spaniard&#8217;s championship hopes, keeping Gen\u00e9&#8217;s title rival behind him throughout the race. Despite the combined efforts of the two riders, Brickley&#8217;s third-place finish was enough to mathematically secure the title for Gen\u00e9. Shepherd finished fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the title already decided, the Monlau Motul riders put on another impressive display on Sunday. The inverted grid placed Shepherd in third position, from where he made a spectacular start that put him in the lead. The Briton managed the pressure from the second-placed driver throughout the race and crossed the finish line in first position, securing the team&#8217;s second victory of the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gen\u00e9 also had a great start, moving from tenth to eighth place. Both he and Brickley steadily climbed through the field to finish sixth and fifth, respectively. These results allowed the Spaniard to clinch the Junior Trophy title and cap off a season in which he achieved two wins, two pole positions, and three podium finishes. He also finished as runner-up in the overall TCR Spain championship. Brickley consolidated his third-place finish in the overall championship and second among the Juniors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>David Sim\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;, team manager of Monlau Motul, reflected on a very positive year for the team:<em>\u201cWe are very pleased with the results in Barcelona and throughout the season. Having Adam Shepherd, the TCR UK champion, on board allowed us to secure a victory. We also won another team title, and \u00c8ric was crowned Junior Trophy champion, so we are very proud of the year we had. Teamwork throughout the season has been key to our results. The synergy between Gen\u00e9 and Brickley has been impeccable; the team has always been the priority, with no individualism.
