Our riders have more than enough talent and the entire technical staff is working hard so they can demonstrate it,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0says David Sim\u00f3n, team manager of Monlau Motul.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><strong><strong><em>\u201cThe mechanics, engineers, and drivers performed at a very high level. If we maintain this momentum, we will arrive at the start of the Spanish F4 season with a very solid foundation,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0says Jaime Serrano, CEO of Monlau Motul.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Circuito de Madrid Jarama \u2013 RACE hosted the second round of the 2026 Spanish Winter Championship, an event characterized by the extreme parity of a 31-seater grid where every tenth of a second counts. In this highly competitive environment, Monlau Motul Technical School opened their points account thanks to Fausto Arnaudo&#8217;s seventh-place finish in the first race of the weekend, a result that confirms the strong pace shown by the Barcelona-based team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After two free practice sessions on Friday to fine-tune setups on a short, technical track, Saturday began with the first qualifying session. Miki Blascos finished 15th with a time of 1:32.336, just 0.692 seconds off&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>pole position<\/em>&nbsp;. Fausto Arnaudo was right behind him in 16th (1:32.404), 0.760 seconds off the fastest time. Rahim Alibhai, meanwhile, set a time of 1:32.806, which earned him 27th place. The minimal differences between the two cars highlighted, once again, the competitiveness of the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first race of the weekend was a display of maturity from Fausto Arnaudo. After starting 16th, the driver from Arroyito, Argentina, climbed through the field to cross the finish line in 10th place. However, after several penalties were applied to rivals ahead of him, Arnaudo was officially promoted to seventh position \u2013 fourth among the&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>rookies<\/em>&nbsp;\u2013 and earned 6 valuable points. Meanwhile, Alibhai completed a remarkable comeback from 27th to 19th place. The other side of the coin was Blascos, who couldn&#8217;t translate his speed into good results, as he was forced to retire after being hit by a rival in the early stages. In Saturday&#8217;s sprint race, Arnaudo finished 16th, Blascos 18th, and Alibhai again finished 19th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sunday began with the second qualifying session, in which Arnaudo set a time of 1:32.493 to place 21st, 0.847 seconds off the fastest time. Blascos was 24th, 0.897 seconds back, and Alibhai 25th, 1.007 seconds behind. In the final heat, Alibhai made another impressive progress to finish in 13th place. However, both Arnaudo and Blascos were unable to finish the race after being involved in incidents when other competitors collided with their cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>David Sim\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;, Team Manager of Monlau Motul Technical School, assessed the team&#8217;s results:&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>\u201cThe most positive aspect is scoring our first points of the season and, once again, the pace we demonstrated in the races. On a circuit like Jarama, every little detail makes a big difference. We had too many incidents that affected our results, especially in Miki&#8217;s case, who was hampered in several races. Even so, we firmly believe that our riders have more than enough talent, and the entire technical staff is working tirelessly to help them prove it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jaime Serrano<\/strong>&nbsp;, CEO of Monlau Motul Technical School, highlighted the team&#8217;s progress:&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>\u201cThese initial points reinforce the work we are doing. The mechanics, engineers, and drivers have demonstrated a high level of skill, and without the misfortunes suffered in Madrid, we would have been much higher up the standings.
