The results confirm the excellent work being done by the drivers, mechanics, and engineers,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0says Jaime Serrano, CEO of Monlau Motul Technical School.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Monlau Motul Karting Team was once again one of the main protagonists of the Spanish Karting Championship (CEK) at the second round of the 2016 season, held this past weekend at MotorLand Arag\u00f3n. The Barcelona-based team brought 18 drivers to the Teruel circuit, competing in the Junior, Mini Rookie, Mini, Senior, KZ, and Academy categories, and returned with a record of four wins and six podium finishes in an event that brought together a total of 177 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Aragon rally also debuted a new sporting format. On Sunday, it incorporated the super races, a new qualifying phase that determined access and the starting grid for the final race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the standout names of the&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>meeting<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;was&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Marc Cruz<\/strong>&nbsp;. The Monlau Motul Karting Team driver delivered an impeccable performance in the Mini category and dominated the event from the start; he won the first race and secured&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>pole position<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;for the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decisive race delivered one of the most spectacular moments of the weekend. Marc Cruz and&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Thiago Huertas&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;broke away from the early laps and managed their lead until the final moments, battling for the win. Ultimately, Cruz crossed the finish line in first place by a mere thousandth of a second over Huertas, securing a brilliant one-two finish for the team.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Guillem Coll<\/strong>&nbsp;, second in the first race, finished 24th in the final, while&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Pablo Segura<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;closed out the weekend in 28th position. Edoardo Alessandro completed his participation in the first race with a 21st place finish on a particularly competitive grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Mini Rookie category, there was also celebration for the Monlau Motul Karting Team thanks to&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Sergio Barreda<\/strong>&nbsp;. The driver from Castell\u00f3n finished third in the first race and capped off Sunday with a solid victory in the final, once again establishing himself among the top contenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Junior category once again delivered excellent results for the team.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Iv\u00e1n Gonz\u00e1lez&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;qualified second in the first race, and Nuvola Morales secured a remarkable fourth place after staging one of the most impressive comebacks of the event on Saturday. The real joy came in the final thanks to&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Nilas Malik<\/strong>&nbsp;, who took the victory in a highly competitive race. Morales completed a Monlau Motul double podium with a superb second-place finish, while Gonz\u00e1lez finished eighth and&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Juan Alameda<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;twelfth.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Pablo Reche<\/strong>&nbsp;, meanwhile, finished the first race in 38th position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In KZ,&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Asier Garc\u00eda&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;once again showed great consistency throughout the weekend, finishing both races in fifth position. Hugo Mart\u00ed, meanwhile, finished 13th in the first heat and climbed to sixth place in the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Senior category left a positive impression.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Cristian Fuente&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;finished ninth in the first race, while&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Nicol\u00e1s Garc\u00eda<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;staged a strong recovery on Sunday to finish sixth in the final.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Carson Vidano<\/strong>&nbsp;, hampered by the first race, was unable to reach the front of the pack.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Egor Ivanchenko&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;was also part of the team&#8217;s lineup at MotorLand Arag\u00f3n, although an accident on Friday forced him to retire early from the&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>meeting<\/em>&nbsp;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Academy,&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Lorenzo Pastoressa&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;completed a weekend of progression and managed to finish 13th in the first heat and 10th in the second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rub\u00e9n Sim\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;, Team Manager of the Monlau Motul Karting Team, gave a positive assessment of the weekend at MotorLand Arag\u00f3n:&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>\u201cWe left very satisfied because we maintained the competitive level we showed in Campillos. We were once again at the front in Mini Rookie, Mini, and Junior, and we were also competitive in Senior and KZ. The weekend was demanding due to the weather conditions, with strong winds on Friday and Saturday, but the team adapted very well. The most important thing is that we remain in contention for several championships and continue developing our drivers.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jaime Serrano<\/strong>&nbsp;, CEO of Monlau Motul Technical School, highlighted the work of the entire team:&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>\u201cThe team once again demonstrated a great capacity for adaptation on a particularly demanding weekend. The results confirm the excellent work being done by the riders, mechanics, and engineers, and motivate us to maintain this level of performance throughout the season.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next event for the Monlau Motul Karting Team will be from June 5th to 7th with another round of the Valencian Community Karting Championship (CKCV) in Chiva.
