We have a group of riders who are improving race after race, and we\u2019re competing on a circuit where we\u2019ve recently been able to accumulate mileage,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0says Jaime Serrano, CEO of Monlau Motul Technical School.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Team Monlau Motul faces the second stop of the FIM MotoJunior\u2122 World Championship 2026 this weekend at the Circuito do Estoril (Portugal), an event in which they will seek to continue the good feelings shown at the start of the season and continue consolidating the work done during the last months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Barcelona-based team arrives in Portugal after a promising debut at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Travis Borg<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;secured the team&#8217;s first podium of the season, finishing second in the second Moto3\u2122 Junior World Championship race. Furthermore, both&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Kerman Tinez&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Marianos Nikolis<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;demonstrated enough speed to compete at the front of the pack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, Team Monlau Motul has completed two days of testing in Estoril with the aim of preparing for this second round in the best possible conditions and continuing to advance in the fine-tuning of the bikes and the adaptation of its riders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Moto3\u2122 Junior World Championship, Borg heads into the Portuguese round among the championship leaders after his brilliant performance in Barcelona. Alongside the Maltese rider, Tinez and Nikolis will be looking to translate the potential shown in the first race of the year into results and fight for the top positions in the only race scheduled for the category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facundo Llamb\u00edas<\/strong>&nbsp;will once again represent the team in the Moto2\u2122 European Championship&nbsp;&nbsp;. The Uruguayan, who began the season hampered by a lack of track time due to a preseason injury, arrives in Estoril with renewed confidence after his recent training sessions. His goal will be to take a step forward and demonstrate his strong pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Moto4\u2122 European Cup will feature the full Team Monlau Motul lineup.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Nolann Macary<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;returns to competition after missing the opening round due to injury. The Frenchman will share the garage with&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Cesc Obiol<\/strong>&nbsp;, who continues his adaptation to this highly demanding category after completing his first weekend in the championship in Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe test days have allowed us to continue working on all fronts and build a solid foundation. On Sunday, before the races, the Moto4\u2122 EC Last Chance race will take place at 9:15 AM. This will be followed by the first Moto4\u2122 EC race (11:00 AM), then the first Moto2\u2122 European Championship race (12:00 PM) and the only Moto3\u2122 Junior WCh race (1:00 PM).
