We want to continue growing and consolidate all the work done during this start of the season,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0says Jaime Serrano, CEO of Monlau Motul Technical School.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Team Monlau Motul faces the third round of the 2026 FIM MotoJunior\u2122 World Championship this weekend at the Circuito de Jerez-\u00c1ngel Nieto, an iconic venue where the Barcelona-based team will look to extend its excellent start to the season. This start has seen them reach the podium in the first two rounds of the championship and establish themselves among the leading teams in the Moto3\u2122 Junior World Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team arrives in Jerez after narrowly missing victory in Estoril, where&nbsp;<strong>Travis Borg<\/strong>&nbsp;secured his second consecutive silver medal after a spectacular race decided on the final lap. The Maltese rider currently sits third in the overall standings, just 18 points behind the leader, and faces a weekend with two Moto3\u2122 races where he will try to continue closing the gap in the championship battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside him,&nbsp;<strong>Kerman Tinez<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Marianos Nikolis<\/strong>&nbsp;will be looking to confirm in the race the strong competitiveness they have consistently demonstrated in the first two rounds of the year, although various setbacks have prevented them from translating this pace into results.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Moto2\u2122 European Championship, Facundo Llamb\u00edas arrives at this third round of the season after consistently setting the fastest times in every session at Estoril. With only one race scheduled at Jerez, the Uruguayan rider&#8217;s objective will be to maintain this progress and fight for the top positions from the outset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Moto4\u2122 European Cup will feature&nbsp;<strong>Nolann Macary<\/strong>&nbsp;, who continues to gain experience in a top-level category after showing very positive development at Estoril. The French rider will compete on a circuit new to him with the aim of qualifying directly for Q2, contesting both races, and scoring his first points of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Team Monlau Motul Moto4\u2122 lineup will be completed by young Bolivian rider\u00a0<strong><strong>Leonardo Fabio Cabrera Botina<\/strong><\/strong>, as a wild car will be making his debut in the category and with the Spanish team. The priority this weekend will be to facilitate his adaptation, ensure consistent progress with each outing, and provide him with the experience necessary to finish in the points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cOur goal is to maintain the team\u2019s excellent performance and the great form our riders are currently enjoying. We know Jerez is always a very demanding circuit, but we are confident we can perform well. Travis is arriving in very positive form, and we want him to continue scoring as many points as possible. We also trust that Kerman and Marianos can translate their already impressive speed into race results. In Moto2\u2122, we expect Facundo to continue the work he did in Estoril, and in Moto4\u2122, we will continue to support Nolann\u2019s progress and help Leandro adapt to the category and the team,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;says&nbsp;<strong>Eduardo Villodre<\/strong>&nbsp;, Team Manager of Team Monlau Motul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe team is proving race after race that it has the level to fight for the top positions. Travis is in the thick of the championship fight, Facundo is in top form, and our younger riders continue to make progress. The goal is to maintain this momentum and be contenders again in Jerez,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;says&nbsp;<strong>Jaime Serrano<\/strong>&nbsp;, CEO of Monlau Motul Technical School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The action at the Jerez-\u00c1ngel Nieto Circuit will kick off on Friday with free practice sessions and continue on Saturday with practice and qualifying, starting at 12:20 CEST. Sunday will begin with the Moto4\u2122 Last Chance race (9:15 a.m.), followed by the first Moto3\u2122 race (11:00 a.m., 15 laps). Next up is the first Moto4\u2122 race (12:00 PM, 14 laps), followed by the single Moto2\u2122 race (1:00 PM, 16 laps). In the afternoon, the second Moto3\u2122 race will take place (2:00 PM, 15 laps), followed by the second Moto4\u2122 race (3:00 PM, 14 laps).
