Facundo\u2019s fourth place and the points earned in Moto3\u2122 are a testament to the team\u2019s hard work and competitiveness,\u201d<\/em> says Jaime Serrano, CEO of Monlau Motul Technical School.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Team Monlau Motul completed the penultimate round of the 2026 FIM MotoJunior\u2122 World Championship at MotorLand Arag\u00f3n with points in both Moto3\u2122 races and a standout performance from <strong>Facundo Llamb\u00edas<\/strong> in the Moto2\u2122 European Championship. <strong>Travis Borg<\/strong> added 10 points over the weekend and now sits fifth in the overall standings with 111 points, two behind fourth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The action began on Friday with free practice, where the riders, mechanics, and engineers of Team Monlau Motul worked on fine-tuning their bikes. In Saturday&#8217;s qualifying, Travis Borg secured ninth position with a time of 1:58.395, while <strong>Kerman Tinez<\/strong> finished 18th with a time of 1:59.938 after suffering a crash during the session. <strong>Marianos Nikolis<\/strong> started from 19th position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first Moto3\u2122 race, Borg made a good start from ninth place and climbed to sixth on the first lap. The Maltese rider remained in the leading group for much of the race, although he lost touch with the frontrunners midway through and finished 11th. Nikolis completed a demanding race to cross the finish line in 13th, while Tinez made steady progress from the back of the field to finish 14th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second race saw all three Team Monlau Motul riders once again in the points. Borg initially held a position at the front, but contact with another rider caused him to lose ground, and he finished 11th again. Nikolis completed a hard-fought race and finished 14th, while Tinez battled throughout to cross the finish line in 15th place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Moto2\u2122 European Championship, Facundo Llamb\u00edas was once again one of the weekend&#8217;s protagonists. The Uruguayan rider started practice with two ninth-place finishes and qualified tenth for the races. In the first race, he made an excellent start, gaining five positions and moving into fifth place in the early stages. Llamb\u00edas maintained a solid pace and good race management throughout the race, battling in the leading group for fourth position until finally securing it in the closing stages. This result represents his best qualifying result of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the second race, Llamb\u00edas delivered a consistent performance. The Uruguayan driver remained in contention for the top positions and finished eighth, completing a weekend in which he showcased his speed and consistency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Moto4\u2122 European Cup, <strong>Nolann Macary<\/strong> was unable to compete in the race. The French rider finished 19th in the first free practice session and improved to 12th in the second. However, a crash during the Last Chance session, while running near the front, prevented him from qualifying for the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cIt was a demanding weekend, especially in Moto3\u2122, where the competition was once again incredibly close. Travis started both races well and was in the leading group, although different circumstances caused him to lose positions and finish eleventh in both. The important thing is that all three riders managed to score points in both races, and we continue working to finish the championship in the best possible position. In Moto2\u2122, Facundo once again demonstrated his speed and maturity with two great races. In Moto4\u2122, Nolann&#8217;s crash in the Last Chance race prevented him from competing, although he showed good progress during practice,\u201d<\/em> explained <strong>Eduardo Villodre<\/strong> , team manager of Team Monlau Motul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe scored important points in Moto3\u2122 and Facundo achieved his best result of the year in Moto2\u2122, thanks to the hard work of the entire team.
