Monlau Repsol Technical School consolidates as the motorsport reference school of racing mechanics and data engineering at an international level. This year, its Motorsport Online Engineering Master will be presented in the Moto3 World Championship thanks to the future investment of Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 by the sports training. Its riders Ar\u00f3n Canet and Enea Bastianini will wear the logo of these prestigious online studies in the fairing of their race motorbikes in all the 2017 season championship races, including the Spanish GP in Jerez.
\nIt is increasingly common to see Monlau Repsol technicians, mechanics and engineers by paddocks around the world. Most of them have been brought up and trained in the on campus lessons of the school located in Barcelona. But from few months ago, they can also do it at a distance thanks to the Motorsport Online Engineering Master. Its main goal is to acquire specific engineering knowledge of motorsport, both in race cars and race motorbikes disciplines.
\nAs a result of the experience acquired in the eight years of the on campus Master’s degree, in 2016 the online version was born, aimed at those engineers and professionals of motorsport who can\u2019t attend lessons physically. In addition, with the online option, this prestigious postgraduate course expands internationally, removing geographic distances and being taught entirely in English. The next call will start in October 2017, although the registration process is already open through the web: www.motorsportonlinemaster.com.
\nIn order to access these postgraduate studies the candidate must be fluent in English language, confirm the obtaining of a University Engineering Degree or Bahcelor of Science; or proven experience on racing car and motorbikes. From there, the real active working teachers and engineers of Monlau Repsol teach students to become true motorsport specialists in all its variants according to the methods, criteria and needs of professional teams and specialized motorsport companies. Maybe someday they will also be part of the professional MotoGP paddock. The first edition of the Online Master had an important international repercussion. As an example we can notice the different origins of the first students of this modality. The e-learning platform has registered students from India, USA, England, Italy, Russia, Australia, France, Peru and Spain.
\nThe link between the Online Masters and the MotoGP goes back to the very day of its debut. The event took place at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Cheste last November, in the framework of the Valencia Grand Prix, and was attended by Emilio Alzamora, the 125cc World Champion in 1999 and CEO of Monlau Repsol and Team Principal of Estrella Galicia 0,0 which this year faces the World Cup with young riders: Ar\u00f3n Canet and Enea Bastianini.
