The revised calendar for the 2020 Moto3 World Championship provides back-to-back races at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto, with this weekend\u2019s Andalusian Grand Prix coming just one week on from the Spanish Grand Prix there.
\nSergio Garcia Dols, Ryusei Yamanaka and the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team have remained in Jerez ahead of the return to action on Friday when the first Free Practice sessions get underway.
\nGarcia Dols occupies 15th in the standings after two rounds of the 2020 season, whilst rookie Yamanaka is chasing his first points of the season to confirm his steady progress.
\nFP1 for the Moto3 class takes place at 9am CEST on Friday, with the race set for 11am.

\nGarcia Dols had difficulty last weekend in Q1, leading him to start from 31st on the grid. He was up into 8th in the race before a penalty prevented him from finishing inside the points.
\nAlong the way, the Spaniard set the fastest lap of the race, and having learnt from his setbacks he is eager to claim a positive result on Sunday.
\n\u201cLast weekend we had setbacks that ended up affecting our position in the race on Sunday. At least, with the next race also being at Jerez, we will have the opportunity to continue working on the same circuit and apply that experience, so as not to start a new Grand Prix weekend from scratch. Our goal is to enhance our strengths and learn from the difficult times to achieve the best possible result.”

\nYamanaka was close to the Top 15 in practice last time out at Jerez. In the end, a lowly grid position (25th) forced him to regain ground in the race, and he finished 16th -on the verge of achieving his first points in the World Championship.

\nThe Japanese rider is now focused on applying the lessons learnt at his second Grand Prix as a full-time participant, and making further progress.
\n\u201cGaining several positions from my starting spot at the last race at Jerez was really positive. Finishing 16th, however -just out of the points-, also left a bit of a sour taste. You learn a lot from the World Championship riders during a race weekend, but much more from a race, after so many months without competing. I hope to progress in the right way and improve my result at this second race at Jerez.\u201d
