Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Moto3 riders Sergio Garcia Dols and Ryusei Yamanaka were back racing this Sunday at the Andalusian Grand Prix, held at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto. The 22-lap race was won by Tatsuki Suzuki.
\nRookie Yamanaka finished 9th thanks to a solid and steady comeback through the field, after starting 17th. He would be passed by teammate Garcia Dols at the end, for 8th place.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nThe next round of the Moto3 World Championship will be the Czech Grand Prix, which will take place at Brno on the weekend of August 7-9th.

\nAfter achieving the 19th best time in the warmup (1:47.336), Garcia Dols made a great start in the race, slotting into the large leading group that had a fast pace from the get-go.
\nIn the closing stages he briefly lost ground and dropped into the second group. However, a swift reaction allowed him to regain positions and finish in 8th place. He now lies 13th in the World Championship, with 13 points.
\n\u201cIn these two weekends it was very difficult for us to find a good feeling on the track. In today’s race there was a lot of contact with other riders, and after one of those incidents it took me a while to get settled again. At least I was able to continue fighting in the second group, which I think is good bearing in mind the difficulties we had. We will continue giving everything to improve. I hope that we continue our progress at Brno.”
\nRyusei Yamanaka\u00a0 (9th, +4.887)
\nRyusei Yamanaka started Sunday with a time of 1:47.402, placing 20th in the warmup. He kept his pace up when the race got underway, riding just outside the points. By the midway mark he had climbed to 13th place.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nHis progress led him to fight at the front of the second group in the final stages, taking 9th position. It matched his previous best result in the Moto3 World Championship and earned him his first 7 points of the season, placing him 16th in the standings.
\n\u201cIt was fantastic to start the race 17th and finish in 8th position. This was the result of a great job done alongside the team. It’s a pity not to have gained more places on the opening laps, which is the only thing I regret. Later on I was riding at a good pace and was comfortable on the bike. We remained strong and caught up with the group ahead of us. After the lockdown, last week was like touching base. Now we have improved and I am sure we will continue to do so.”
