Sergio Garcia Dols and Ryusei Yamanaka undertake the seventh round of the revised 2020 calendar this weekend, as they head to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the San Marino GP. It will be the first of two races held on consecutive weeks at the Italian track.
\nGarcia Dols will return to the circuit where he competed as a rookie last year, while Yamanaka also has previous experience of riding at Misano.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nThe first Free Practice sessions for the San Marino GP will take place on Friday at 9:00am CEST with the race scheduled for Sunday at 11:00am.

\nSergio Garcia Dols, 16th in the World Championship with 19 points, had a great race at Styrian GP last time out, starting 13th on the grid and riding the entire race in the leading group. He would receive a long lap penalty before the chequered flag, but nevertheless placed 10th.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nHis first World Championship appearance at Misano, last year, saw the Spaniard suffer an unfortunate crash in the early stages of the race, thus depriving him of completing a weekend of hard work.
\n“Even though last year my debut at Misano was not very good due to the crash, I like the circuit and I believe that we can continue with the steps forward that we took last time out in Austria, confirm the improvement in the feeling I had with the bike and continue giving my all.”
\nRyusei Yamanaka
\nRyusei Yamanaka, 21st in the World Championship with 8 points, made raceday progress in Austria at the most recent round, climbing from\u00a0 27th on the grid to finish 15th and achieve points for the second time this year.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nYamanaka has previous experience at Misano, as in 2018 he started on the front row of the grid in the MotoGP Rookies Cup there. An incident in the race denied him a podium spot, as he placed fourth.
\n“I have mixed feelings about Misano. On the one hand I like it, as it has fast sections that are impressive, but on the other hand I don’t like it so much because I wasn’t too satisfied when I raced there. In any case, I learned a lot from the experience, especially in terms of braking points.”
