Estrella Galicia 0,0 riders Sergio Garcia Dols and Ryusei Yamanaka face the eleventh round of the Moto3 World Championship season this weekend, competing in the Aragon Grand Prix. It will be the first of two back-to-back rounds at the MotorLand circuit.
\nGarcia Dols finished 11th at the last race in France, although he showed excellent progress in the practice and qualifying sessions. Yamanaka placed 18th, and was close to scoring points before being hit by a Long Lap penalty.
\nThe first Free Practice session gets underway on Friday, October 16th at 9am, with the race scheduled for Sunday at 11am.
\nSergio Garc\u00eda Dols\u00a0 (15th in the World Championship with 37 points)
\nLast week at Le Mans, Sergio Garcia Dols took 5th on the grid, then went on to cross the finish line 11th after a fast and chaotic race.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nThe Spaniard enjoyed what at the time was the best race of his debut season last year at MotorLand Aragon. He started 29th on the grid, reaching 7th position and taking the chequered flag less than half a second away from a place on the podium.
\n\u201cMotorLand is a circuit that I know very well; for me it is like a home circuit, since I have tested a lot there since I was little and have also raced in Pre Moto3, the FIM CEV Repsol and the World Championship. I have great memories of Aragon. I will do my best once again and we will try to improve the aspects that prevented us from fighting for the podium last week in France.\u201d
\nRyusei Yamanaka (23rd in the World Championship with 13 points)
\nThe Japanese rider spent most of the race in France amongst the points, but a Long Lap penalty late on relegated him to 18th position.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nAlthough this will be Yamanaka\u2019s first World Championship ride at MotorLand, he competed at the track last year in the FIM CEV Repsol with Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0. He was 6th on the grid, and concluded the contest in the same position.
\n\u201cI have previous experience of Aragon, so I think we will be able to progress in the right direction throughout the weekend. Right from the first Free Practice, I will try any way I can to go straight into Q2. I really like the circuit and I hope to achieve a good result in the race.\u201d
