Garcia Dols continued to improve his setup, whilst Yamanaka undertook his first kilometers under the guidance of his 2020 Estrella Galicia 0,0 Moto3 crew.
The two-day test featured clear skies and temperatures of around 18ºC, with the wind having a bigger influence on the first day.
The Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Moto3 will return to action in February of 2020.
SERGIO GARCÍA – “We rode fast and tried a variety of options”
Garcia Dols continued the progression that led him to win his first World Championship race at the same track one week ago.
Making the most of his track time, the Spaniard has worked especially on increasing his confidence with the front end.
“These two days of testing have been very productive, since we had quite favourable weather conditions, although the wind did affect things. This allowed us to put in a lot of laps and try a variety of options. We focused especially on the front end setup, and I think we have found a good one. That balance allowed us to ride fast. After this final test, I have to undergo surgery in December to remove a screw from my left leg femur, and then we will rest up in order to start the preseason at full fitness.”
RYUSEI YAMANAKA – “I’m very satisfied and motivated to continue working hard”
At the Valencia test, the Japanese rookie met up with what will be his regular crew in his first World Championship season.
The objective was to adapt to his new bike, work on the setup and make the first changes in aspect such as learning engine braking with his new machine.
This has been a great test in which I met my new technical team and gained even more confidence on the bike. It’s been two days of intense, productive work, in which I have learned a lot of new things right from the start. After this test I am very satisfied and motivated to continue working hard and improving.”
