Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 is aiming for everything in the FIM JuniorGP™ of Aragon

  • The team is looking forward to the penultimate event of the year at MotorLand Aragón, with a JuniorGP™ race and two European Talent Cup races.
  • Still with a mathematical chance of fighting for the JuniorGP™ title, the drivers will be looking for their fourth podium of the season.
  • “With the good line of work shown by the team throughout the year, we are convinced that there are still great results to be celebrated in both categories,”  highlights Jaime Serrano, CEO of the team.

Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 is hungry and ambitious for the penultimate round of the FIM JuniorGP™, which will take place on October 13 at MotorLand Aragón. The team is aiming to get back on the podium, as it did at the last round held in Jerez, and to achieve this, the technical staff and riders have been working these weeks to achieve the best possible outcome in this championship.

In the JuniorGP™ category, the team’s three riders still have a mathematical chance of winning the title with three rounds remaining. Máximo Quiles is the highest placed rider in the table with sixth position and 84 points, while Casey O’Gorman is ninth with 60 and Facundo Llambías, 12th with 47.

The Aragonese circuit usually brings good results to the TEG00, as happened in 2023, when the team took victory in the category with Ángel Piqueras and both Llambías (seventh) and O’Gorman (ninth) finished within the Top 10. Not only that; in the European Talent Cup, Máximo Quiles –at that time in another structure– scored two victories in the same day.

“We know that everything is possible and that is why the team is giving its all. After the tests carried out at MotorLand last week, we are going to fight for the victory, as we arrive with a great set-up,”  says  Max Moro , Team Leader Project.

In the ETC, the five TEG00 drivers will be looking to take another step forward in Aragón in their ongoing evolution that they have shown throughout the season. Although none of them have a mathematical chance of winning the title this year, Jesús Torres, the driver of the best-placed team with sixth place and 61 points, will try to finish the year in the top five (42 points separate him from the fifth-placed driver).

Meanwhile, Pau Alsina (ninth with 42 points), Fernando Bujosa (14th with 27), Enzo Bellon (15th with 26) and Marianos Nikolis (18th with 21) will be looking to add points that will allow them to finish among the top ten in the standings.  “Without a doubt, the 50 points at stake in Aragón will be key to achieving our goal. All our riders are on the rise and we will fight for victory in both races,”  says Moro.

Jaime Serrano , CEO of the team,  is equally convinced  : “With the good line of work shown by the team throughout the year, we are convinced that there are still great results to be celebrated in both categories. Fortune has not been on our side so far this year, but the staff has shown that they have an excellent level, with professionalism and passion without limits. And that is transmitted to the drivers.”

The show at MotorLand Aragón will kick off with free practice on Thursday and Friday, while the starting grid will be decided on Saturday at 13:10 CEST. Sunday will open with the ETC Last Chance at 9:15, followed by the races: the first ETC heat will start at 12:00 (13 laps), followed by the only scheduled JuniorGP™ heat at 13:00 (14 laps) and ending with the second and final ETC heat at 15:00 (13 laps). It can be followed live on the DAZN platform, on its Movistar+ channel and on RTVE.
