The third round of the 2026 IAME Euro Series proved successful for the Monlau Motul Karting Team at the Wackersdorf circuit in Germany. Iván González was the team’s standout performer, finishing fourth in the Junior category final, setting the fastest lap of the race, and moving within four points of the championship lead. In the Senior category, Cristian Fuente and Egor Ivanchenko also enjoyed a strong weekend, both qualifying for the final race.
The third round of the championship brought together some of Europe’s top specialists on the German track, where the Monlau Motul Karting Team once again demonstrated its high level of competitiveness. The team fielded three drivers: Iván González in Junior, and Cristian Fuente and Egor Ivanchenko in Senior.
From the free practice sessions, Iván González made his ambitions clear, consistently placing among the fastest drivers in the category. The Andalusian driver finished fifth in the initial session before securing a superb second place in Qualifying Practice, just 64 thousandths of a second off the fastest time. He subsequently maintained a consistent pace, finishing seventh in the qualifying heats and fifth in the Super Heats, results that allowed him to approach the final with a chance to fight for the podium.
In the decisive race, González once again displayed great speed to cross the finish line in a commendable fourth position. He also set the fastest lap of the race with a time of 50.971, confirming the excellent performance he had shown throughout the weekend. Thanks to this result, the Monlau Motul Karting Team driver is now only four points behind the leader, meaning he will arrive at the final round of the season with a chance to be crowned Junior champion of the IAME Euro Series.
In the Senior category, Cristian Fuente and Egor Ivanchenko also achieved their goal of reaching the final after progressing through the various qualifying rounds of the event. Ivanchenko was the faster of the two in qualifying, finishing 14th. In the Super Heats, he was 26th, while in the final race he crossed the finish line in 23rd position. Fuente, for his part, qualified 17th, finished 32nd in the Super Heats, and 22nd in the final.

He was competitive from practice, set the fastest lap in the final, and we leave Germany with a chance to fight for the championship. The fourth and final round of the IAME Euro Series will take place from August 27 to 31 at Karting Genk in Belgium, where the Monlau Motul Karting Team will look to close out the season by fighting for the Junior category continental title.
