After Grands Prix in Qatar, Argentina and the United States thus far in 2017, the Moto3 World Championship arrives in Europe this weekend. The Spanish Grand Prix takes place at the Circuito de Jerez, where the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team undertook an intense preseason test in which Aron Canet topped every session.
Aron Canet and his crew arrive in Jerez with a desire to fight for victory, after having found an optimum setup at their elected testing track during preseason. The Spaniard, who has taken a step forward at the Andalusian track, has unfinished business with the circuit: He was unable to finish last season’s race because of a crash when riding in eighth, 18 laps from the chequered flag.
Estrella Galicia 0,0 teammate Enea Bastinini comes into the weekend off the back of his best result of the season so far. The Italian was fourth at the GP of The Americas, and hopes to continue making progress in his search for the optimum setup for his Honda at the Circuito de Jerez. He finished eighth at the Spanish GP in 2016.
