Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Moto3 completed their second day of Official Testing at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto on Thursday, in which the riders were benefitted from better track conditions than on Wednesday.
Sergio Garcia Dols, who placed 6th, was once again amongst the quickest riders on Day 2, with rookie Ryusei Yamanaka continuing his progress and finishing 26th on the timesheets (1’46.426). The Japanese rider has lowered a second his best time from yesterday.
The Estrella Galicia 0,0 Moto3 duo will be back out on track on Friday for the third and final day of the Official Test, before a final preseason outing at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar from February 28th.
SERGIO GARCÍA DOLS – “Our times have been consistent”
“Today we had another positive day. We worked on strengthening our pace and we managed to achieve our objective, riding fast. Our times are consistent with used tyres, which is the most important thing. We will continue to work in the same way tomorrow, maybe looking for a faster one-off lap, although that isn’t our main goal.”
RYUSEI YAMANAKA – “My feeling and my lap times have improved.”
“I think that today has been a day in which we have progressed constantly, because my feeling and my lap times have improved. I still have to make progress in some sections, but I feel strong and, in general, I0m satisfied. I hope that tomorrow we can finish off our work.”
