The Estrella Galicia 0,0 team take on their third preseason test this week at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto, participating in the first IRTA event for the Moto3 World Championship riders.
Sergio Garcia Dols topped the timesheets on Wednesday at Jerez, whilst rookie Ryusei Yamanaka continued his adaptation to the machine with which he will undertake his first World Championship season.
The Estrella Galicia 0,0 Moto3 team will remain in Jerez through Friday, before moving on to the last official IRTA test of the 2020 preseason, held at the Losail International Circuit (Qatar) between February 28th and March 1st.
SERGIO GARCÍA DOLS – “We were fast and focused on setting a good pace later on”
“This first day has been very positive, since we were fast in the morning in the first session and then focused on setting a good pace later on. We also tried some solutions that worked and helped us to understand the bike even better. Tomorrow we will continue working to the fullest.”
RYUSEI YAMANAKA – “The last session was especially helpful”
“The first two runouts of the day were difficult for me, since I didn’t have such good a feeling. It’s not that I was not focused, but more a case of my feeling being completely different to what I had at the same track last week. Fortunately, things improved as the day progressed and the last session was especially helpful.”
