- The Maltese rider finished third in the only Moto3™ Junior World Championship race held at Magny-Cours and is second in the overall standings, just nine points behind the leader .

Team Monlau Motul concluded its participation in the fourth round of the 2026 FIM MotoJunior™ World Championship with another podium finish, held last weekend at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France. Travis Borg once again placed himself among the top riders, finishing third in the only Moto3™ Junior World Championship race, thus securing his fourth consecutive podium of the season. This result puts him second in the overall standings, just nine points behind the leader.
The meeting started with positive feelings for the Barcelona-based team in Moto3™. Borg remained among the most competitive riders throughout all sessions and qualified tenth for the race. Marianos Nikolis confirmed his good pace with eighth place in qualifying, while Kerman Tinez failed to reach Q2 and had to start from 27th.
The only Moto3™ race was marked by its close competition. Borg made a great start and was involved in a fierce battle for the final podium position throughout the race. He ultimately crossed the finish line in third place. Nikolis’ chances were dashed after being hit by another rider on the first lap, while Tinez staged a strong comeback from the back of the grid to finish 14th.
In the Moto2™ European Championship, Facundo Llambías once again demonstrated a very competitive pace. However, a qualifying session marked by changing track conditions relegated him to 16th position on the grid and hampered his chances in both races.
The Uruguayan driver started from 16th place and staged two comebacks. In the first heat, he gained seven positions on the opening lap and, after an intense battle in a very close group, crossed the finish line in 11th. In the second heat, he again fought for a top-10 finish, ultimately ending up in 12th.
In the Moto4™ European Cup, Nolann Macary continued his progress, qualifying 14th for both races. In the first race, contact with a rival damaged his bike’s clutch lever. Despite continuing on track for several laps, the incident eventually forced him to pit and rejoin the race to gain more experience. He finished 18th in the second race. Meanwhile, Leonardo Fabio Cabrera failed to qualify for either race, although he continued his adaptation to the category.

We must also highlight Facundo’s performance, who showed speed throughout the race. Kerman completed a good comeback, Marianos was very unlucky with the incident, and in Moto4™, Nolann continues to make progress while Leonardo continues to gain valuable experience,” explained Eduardo Villodre , Team Manager of Team Monlau Motul.

The fifth round of the 2026 FIM MotoJunior™ World Championship will take place from September 4th to 6th at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, where Team Monlau Motul will be looking to maintain their great form and continue fighting for the Moto3™ championship.
