Garcia Dols and Yamanaka face second round at Circuit Ricardo Tormo

Estrella Galicia 0,0 riders Sergio Garcia Dols and Ryusei Yamanaka will compete in the fourteenth round of the Moto3 World Championship season this weekend, as the series remains at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo for the Valencian Grand Prix.
After achieving second place in last week’s race, Garcia Dols now has his sights set on going one better. Yamanaka will be looking to improve during practice and score points in the race, after placing 16th last time out.
The first Free Practice session will get underway on Friday at 10am, with the race scheduled for Sunday at 11am.
Sergio Garcia Dols (14th in the World Championship with 57 points)
Sergio Garcia Dols has a special relationship with his home circuit, the scene of his first Grand Prix victory in 2019.
Last week at  the European Grand Prix, the Spaniard started from seventh on the grid and was constantly fighting for the podium -a goal he achieved by finishing 2nd, just 0.703  behind the race winner.
“We’re going back to Valencia determined to give our all on every run, so that I can have some good Free Practice and qualifying sessions and be in a position to fight to the fullest in the race for the victory. I think I can do it, because with my team I have all the necessary elements to make it happen.”
Ryusei Yamanaka (24th in the World Championship with 13 points)
Ryusei Yamanaka faces a quick turnaround at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, less than a week after suffering a spectacular crash in Friday practice last weekend -from which he fortunately escaped unharmed.
The Japanese rider started from 30th on the grid, but was not discouraged and made a strong comeback that led him to finish just outside the points, in 16th position.
“I hope we enjoy favourable conditions from the first Free Practice on Friday, so that I can make a steady progression from FP1 to Q2. I think I had a good race last week at this circuit, but I need to start the race from higher up on the grid.”
